In 1996, he perfected his painting technique and focused on the theme of nature and jungles. In 2000, he was one of twenty-one artist chosen to participate in a National Art Competition organized by the Minister of Culture. The exposure from the competition led to exhibitions in MUPANAH and the Center for the Arts.
