General, Book, & Computer Related Library Services
At Asbury Park Public Library we offer many great services to our residents and visitors – library cardholders and non-cardholders alike. Here’s a quick overview. Click the headings below or the section links in the menu on the right side of the page for more details.
General Library Services & Offerings
Free books, an ongoing book sale table – with books just $.25 each, a monthly book display, community bulletin board, copy machines, outgoing fax services, notary services, the Bradley Room display case (where we exhibit artwork, photographs and other projects by local artists)
Computer / Internet Related Services
Free computer use (cardholders only - non-cardholders $3.00 per hour), high-speed Internet access, free wireless Internet access, access to online research databases.
Notary Services
Documents and other important papers can be notarized at the library for only $2.50 per document. These services are typically available anytime during normal library hours, but we encourage you to call ahead (732-774-4221) to ensure that a notary is or will be on-site when you come to the library to have your document(s) notarized. Borrowing Related Services (Cardholders Only)
For current cardholders in good standing we also provide book reserves, book requests, scheduled book delivery.
